For Sale - Finca / Country House
My mother has decided that the Rural life is a bit much for her in her retirement and we are looking for a buyer for her 'Finca' in Spain. It is in the village of Parcent, within the Jalon Valley, close to Denia. There is quite a reasonable size english community in Parcent, with a local 'brit shop' and local newspaper. You can experience the joy of being in Rural Spain and integrate with the locals without losing contact and the comforts of home.
The house is a 2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom, property with a fabulous kitchen diner for those of you who love to entertain and stunning views from the french windows of the sitting room. Many a happy hour has been spent sitting watching the sun set.
All the usual mod cons, hot and cold water, electricity, gas etc. But typically Rural Spain. Your water is delivered to a hidden storage tank and the pressure kept up by a water pump. The Electricity is supplied by an army of industrial batteries kept in the Cellar topped up by a diesel generator. And finally the Gas is bottled and available readily locally. All within easy reach and/or contact.
The land is full of Olive Trees and if you wanted to you could pick the crop and take it down to the village to the local 'Co-operative' and take your share of the profits they make, but it was a bit too much for my mother to contemplate. She just enjoyed sitting on her sun terrace, entertaining and enjoying the good weather. (Sure beats winter in the UK!!)
This is a truly original rustic property just begging for a younger hand to take care of it.
